Job summary

Health Marketing seeks a gastroenterologist to provide both outpatient and inpatient care in Bangor, Maine. The role focuses on GI procedures including upper and lower endoscopy, colonoscopy, liver biopsy, PEG placement, and related interventions.

Job description

This role involves providing outpatient and inpatient care with a focus on gastroenterology procedures such as upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, liver biopsy, PEG placement, esophageal dilatation, banding, push enteroscopy, and Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management.

Responsibilities Include

• Managing a patient load of approximately 8-12 patients per 24 hours.
• Responding to call duties with a 1/8 ratio and 30-minute response time, including beeper call.
• Maintaining hospital privileges to perform procedures and manage patients.
• Providing high-quality outpatient and inpatient care in a collaborative setting.
