Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking an experienced clinician to provide inpatient consultation and emergency coverage with a 24-hour call schedule, one week per month.

You will perform procedures including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG placement, and liver biopsy, with preferred skills in ERCP, esophageal dilatation, manometry, sigmoidoscopy and small bowel biopsy. ACLS certification is required and housing/travel/credentialing/malpractice support is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be ACLS certified.
• Experience performing inpatient consults, ED consults, transfers and admissions.
• Procedures include upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG and liver biopsy.

Responsibilities

• Manage consults, ED consults, transfers and admissions in an inpatient setting.
• Provide 24-hour call coverage and on-call scheduling as described in the role.
