Seeking a Locums FamilyMedicine Physician in Franklin, VA.

Assignment Details:

• Shift Options:
• Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM(1-hour lunch)
• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM(1-hour lunch)
• Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM(30-minute lunch)
• Patient Volume:20–25 patients per day
• Call Schedule:
• 1 week of call every 6 weeks
• Call is for Southampton Practices only
• Call begins Monday and ends thefollowing Monday at 7:00 AM
• Weekend Work:None required
• On-Call Duties:Light phone call coverage, no in-house requirement

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primarycare services
• Conduct physicals, wellness exams,chronic disease management, and sick visits
• Document patient encounters in EMRsystem accurately and timely
• Provide referrals as needed andcollaborate with care teams
• Participate in rotating call coverage asoutlined

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Active Virginia Medical License
• BLS Certification
• DEA License (required or ability toobtain)
• Experience in outpatient primary caresettings preferred
