Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join a high-volume ED in Kansas City, MO. This fast-paced setting requires strong clinical skills and a flexible schedule with day, night, and weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, holds an active Missouri license or can obtain one, and has current DEA registration with ACLS/ATLS/PALS/BLS as required. Excellent teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine required or eligible.
• Active Missouri medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Current DEA registration and required certifications (ACLS/ATLS/PALS/BLS) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients presenting with emergency medical conditions.
• Perform all standard Emergency Department procedures.
• Stabilize critically ill and injured patients.
• Manage complex cases and coordinate transfers when appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and ancillary teams.
• Provide timely, evidence-based emergency care and accurate medical documentation.

Education

Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)

Missouri medical license or ability to obtain
