Job description

We are seeking a LocumsEmergency Medicine Physician to provide 12-hour shift coverage in a busy EmergencyDepartment in Everett, PA. Physicians must be willing to work any shift asneeded (7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM), with the possibility of picking up mid-levelshift coverage if necessary.
In this role, the physician will provide comprehensive emergency care, treatinga wide range of acute and critical conditions. Responsibilities includemanaging airways through intubations, performing chest tube placements,inserting central lines, conducting joint and fracture reductions, andperforming joint aspirations. Additional duties involve laceration repairs,incision and drainage (I&D), and other emergency procedures within thescope of an Emergency Medicine residency-trained physician. The ideal candidatewill be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, making quick clinicaldecisions, and collaborating with a team to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or OsteopathicEmergency Medicine
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency
• Active Pennsylvania medical license
