Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks a Locums Orthopedic Surgeon to establish and grow an elective orthopedic and total joints practice in Williamson County, Illinois, with the backing of an established health system and a collaborative orthopedic team.

The role offers dedicated OR block time, APP support, hospitalist-led admissions, and strong infrastructure to build a high-volume elective service line in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure and hospital privileges.
• Interest in building and growing an elective orthopedic surgery practice.
• Comfortable managing a limited amount of acute orthopedic and fracture care.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow an elective orthopedic and total joints practice in Williamson County, IL.
• Lead and manage a high-volume elective orthopedic service line with systems support.
• Collaborate with APPs, hospital teams, and the health system to grow referrals.
• Provide high-quality patient-centered care across elective joint procedures.

We are seeking a Locums Orthopedic Surgeon to establish and grow anelective orthopedic and total joints practice in Williamson County, Illinois.This is a unique opportunity to build a high-volume elective practice from astrong foundation with the support of an established health system, dedicatedAPP assistance, and a collaborative orthopedic team.

Requirements:

• Fellowship training in AdultReconstruction and Total Joint Replacement.
