Chicago Derm is seeking a Locums Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a high-acuity ICU assignment in Illinois. Flexible blocks with no call responsibilities are offered, plus travel coverage.

The position requires a Nurse Practitioner with active Illinois licensure, board certification, BLS, and DEA. Expect management of neuro, cardiac, and medical ICU patients with 7pm–7am night shifts and 10–15 patients per shift.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner and board certified.
• Active Illinois license required; BLS and DEA are required.

Responsibilities

• Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
• Care for ~10–15 patients per shift.
• ECMO, VAD, transplant, neurocritical care, and cardiovascular surgery patients.
• Central and arterial line placement required.
