Vetted Solutions in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Mental Health Physician for locum tenens coverage in inpatient and outpatient settings. You will assess patients, initiate and adjust medications, and coordinate care across a 25-bed unit and related outpatient services.

The role involves daily patient loads, comprehensive evaluations, and thorough documentation through an online portal. This temporary position offers competitive compensation and travel/housing support for qualified physicians.

Qualificações

• Experience providing psychiatric care with emphasis on medication management.
• Ability to manage 10–12 patients daily across inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Experience with patients aged 5–18 is preferred.
• Locum tenens or temporary assignment experience is a plus.

Role:

Mental Health Physician for locum tenens coverage in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing patient caseloads with 10-12 patients daily, conducting 25-minute medication checks, 60-minute step-down evaluations, and 90-minute new evaluations for patients aged 5-18.

Work environment:

25-bed inpatient unit with outpatient services, occasional inpatient weekends, and vacation coverage. Typically works Monday to Friday with some flexibility for federal holidays off.

Qualifications & skills:

Comfortable with medication management and able to handle a varied patient demographic.

Key duties:
