We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide coverage across multiple care settings, including the Main Operating Room (OR), On-Site Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), GI Lab, EP Lab, and Radiology in Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves a mix of elective and complex acute care cases, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment.
The position offers flexible scheduling with 8- and 10-hour shifts available. A minimum commitment of three shifts per week is required, ensuring flexibility while maintaining continuity of care. This assignment has an early March start date with the opportunity for temporary privileges, making it an ideal option for candidates looking for a swift onboarding process.
As a Locums CRNA, you will provide hands-on anesthesia care across various service lines, including orthopedics, complex urology, surgical oncology, neurology, vascular, and cardiac cases. Responsibilities include conducting pre-anesthesia evaluations, administering anesthesia, and closely monitoring patients during surgical and diagnostic procedures.
You will work collaboratively with surgeons, proceduralists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. The workload includes approximately 65 cases per day, 2 cases per night, 350 cases per week, and about 18,000 cases per year across the facility.
