Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Tenens Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide up to 2 weeks per month of call coverage in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The Physician Assistant will provide first-assist support during cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries. You will participate in preoperative and postoperative patient care, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Additionally, you will respond to emergency calls and manage acute surgical cases as needed, maintaining accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with experience in cardiovascular surgery.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Idaho.
• Strong clinical skills and experience in assisting with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
