We are seeking a Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide first-assist support in the operating room for CT Surgery cases in a Level II Trauma Center. Responsibilities include scrubbing in for CABG, thoracic cases, AVR, TAVR, and aortic procedures, as well as participating in scheduled surgical cases and rotating on-call coverage for emergency cases. The schedule consists of Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 6 PM, followed by night call from 6 PM - 7 AM. Weekend coverage includes 24-hour call (7 AM - 7 AM) with rounding from approximately 10 AM - 4 PM.
