Northeast Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology Physician for locum-tenens coverage in an inpatient hospital setting in Petoskey, Michigan. The physician will provide inpatient cardiology care, perform and interpret cardiac diagnostic studies, and collaborate with a dedicated team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Setting: Inpatient hospital-based cardiology with Cerner EMR. Call coverage includes 24-hour calls with weekday and weekend shifts; weekday shifts include

Qualifications

• Board-certified cardiology physician with inpatient experience.
• Active Michigan medical license.
• Ability to perform and interpret echocardiograms and stress tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology consultations and ongoing patient management.
• Perform and interpret echocardiograms.
• Perform and interpret treadmill stress tests.
• Perform and interpret chemical stress tests.
• Evaluate diagnostic findings and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with three inpatient APPs who support the cardiology service.
• Coordinate care with the inpatient team to ensure quality patient care.

Seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology Physician for locumtenens coverage in an inpatient hospital setting in Petoskey, Michigan. Schedule

• CallCoverage: 24-hour call, 6:00 AM–6:00 AM
• WeekdayCoverage: Monday–Friday, as scheduled
