Job summary

Aya Healthcare is seeking an orthopedic surgical coverage provider for an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Start date in January, ongoing, with full-time schedule and no call. You will be overseeing ortho cases and utilizing EPIC for documentation in an outpatient setting.

This role includes travel with malpractice coverage. Center operates Monday through Friday, with three weeks per month of coverage. Cardiac and OB cases are not included.

Qualifications

• Ortho with block experience required.
• Experience in outpatient ambulatory surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover ortho cases in an Ambulatory Surgery Center.
• Work with EPIC EMR for case documentation.

Start Date:

Schedule:

• Full Time
• No Call
• 3 weeks per month

Clinical Details:

• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 2-3 weeks per month - M-F
• Patient Population/Age: all ages (usually 1+ as outpatient facility but occasionally might see under 1 year for ENT tubes and tonsils)
• Department Description: mixture of medical directing also doing own cases
• EMR: EPIC
• Special Procedures: outpatient cases, all specialties but no cardiac or OB
• Skills Required: ortho with block required – lots of this!
