Job summary

Providence Medical Group - Northern California in Eureka, CA is seeking an experienced anesthesia provider for inpatient coverage on an ongoing basis. The role features a mix of scheduled shifts and beeper call, with night and weekend duties as required.

Shifts include day, evening, OB, and call, totaling 7–14 shifts per month with a guaranteed 8 hours per shift. Candidates must hold a California medical license, a current DEA, and board certification or eligibility; travel and malpractice

Qualifications

• Active California medical license is required.
• Active DEA registration is required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years.
• Comfortable providing inpatient anesthesia with shared call coverage.
• Willing to rotate into night shifts after orientation.

Rate: $3000 per weekday shift, additional rates for weekend/night call

Start: Ongoing

Schedule: 1-2 weeks per month

Requirements

• Active California medical license
• Active DEA
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible within 5 years
• Comfortable providing inpatient anesthesia and shared call coverage
• Willing to rotate into night shifts after orientation

This is an ongoing assignment with a collaborative anesthesia team. Providers will begin on day shifts before transitioning into night coverage.
