Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board-certified in Anesthesiology.
• Active, unrestricted California medical license.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete CCRMC credentialing and privileging requirements.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a multidisciplinary hospital team.
• Reliable availability for the agreed-upon monthly schedule.

• Deliver peri-labor analgesia/anesthesia services for approximately 3,000 deliveries per year.

• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and anesthesia colleagues in a busy hospital setting.

Job description

We are seeking Anesthesiologists to join our team for an ongoing locums assignment! We are willing to work through your scheduled needs and accommodate travel!

Specialty: Anesthesiology

Occupation: Physician (MD/DO)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3-month contract (with the ability to renew)

Shift: 10.5 hour and 12 hour shifts.

Employment Type: Contract

Salary Range: $300-$330 per hour

Position Summary:

• Duties include General Anesthesia for General Surgery, L&D Orthopedics, ENT, OB/GYN, GI, and Ophthalmology.
• Peri-labor analgesia/anesthesia services are provided for approximately 3,000 deliveries per year. Acute pain services, utilizing regional anesthesia techniques, is an integral part of our perioperative care. Most surgeries would be considered “bread and butter” cases.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology

• Current DEA registration, as applicable
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Clinicians should be comfortable working within a busy hospital environment and maintaining dependable attendance for scheduled assignments.
