Job summary

Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a compassionate Locum Veterinarian (DVM) to support hospitals in Bethany, Norman, and Guthrie, Oklahoma. This role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to work with a welcoming, collaborative team while delivering high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates will enjoy client interaction, focus on preventative medicine, and thrive in a fast-paced general practice. Licensing in Oklahoma and NAVLE completion are required; experience in surgery is a plus.

Qualifications

  • DVM or VMD degree from AVMA-accredited college; eligible to obtain Oklahoma license
  • Successful NAVLE completion

Will support our hospitals in: Bethany, Oklahoma; Norman, Oklahoma; and Guthrie, Oklahoma

We are looking to welcome a Locum Veterinarian (DVM) to our team! We are seeking a compassionate and skilled veterinarian who can provide high-quality patient care while supporting our established, collaborative team. This is a great opportunity for a DVM looking for flexible scheduling, additional clinical work, or the chance to experience a welcoming practice with an excellent support system.

Required Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine (or equivalent certification for international graduates)
  • Active Oklahoma veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
  • Successful completion of the NAVLE
  • Commitment to practicing high-quality, evidence-based veterinary medicine
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. You will be provided more detailed information about compensation and benefits for your specific location.
