In this role you will have inpatient rounding and call coverage with a 1:2 call ratio, and you will see 4–5 patients per 24 hours with extensive CV/thoracic surgery duties including open and endoscopic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Beeper call -- 20 minute response time required
• Call ratio: 1:2
• Avg 4 - 5 phone consults, patients seen, and admissions per 24 hrs
• Both inpatient rounding and call coverage included
• Extensive CV/thoracic surgery skills required -- open and endoscopic
• TAVR, CABG, LVAD, valve repair/replacement, and lung resection required
• Congenital defect repair and aneurysm repair skills required
• Bronchoscopy and vent management skills required
