Job summary

CompHealth is offering a psychiatry locum tenens position in Maryland with an adult inpatient psychiatry unit. The schedule includes Monday to Friday rounds from 8 am to 5 pm and a 5 pm to 8 am on-call shift. One weekend per month and some holidays are required.

Hospital privileges and board certification are mandatory, with weekly pay and full credentialing support provided by CompHealth. The compensation ranges from $185.00 to $220.00 per hour, all-inclusive, reflecting base pay plus potential

Qualifications

• Board certification in Psychiatry is required.
• Hospital privileges are required.
• Experience in adult inpatient psychiatry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rounding Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with on-call 5 pm–8 am.
• Care for approximately 11 patients per day in an adult inpatient psychiatry unit.
• One weekend per month and some holidays required.
• Locum arrangement includes credentialing, housing, travel and malpractice coverage handled by CompHealth.
