Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant for a locum tenens general surgery assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. The position runs for 13 weeks with nights only (6pm–6am) and includes 100% non-surgical duties while seeing patients aged 15 and older.

Required qualifications include ATLS and ACLS, chest-tube and wire placement experience, and a competitive hourly rate of $95–$110. Weatherby provides housing, transportation, and 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Night shifts from 6pm to 6am.
• Experience in trauma ICU settings is preferred.
• Chest tube placement and wire placement experience is required.

Responsibilities

• See patients 15 years and older.
• Perform non-surgical tasks as directed during the shift.
• Coordinate care with Weatherby consultant and team.
• Assist in general surgery cases as appropriate without performing surgical procedures.
