Responsibilities


Partnered with a leading hospital in Dallas, Texas, this opportunity is for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum Pediatric Cardiology coverage.


Opportunity Overview:


  • Schedule: 13-hour shifts
  • No call required
  • Setting: Cardiac ICU and acute care cardiology
  • Patient Population: Pediatrics
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications


  • Board Certified
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Experience with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) protocols (if applicable)
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Active unencumbered Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Texas license
  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • At least one year of Pediatric Cardiology experience as a PA or NP
  • One year of EMR experience
