Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a licensed Physician Assistant for radiology locum tenens assignments in Mississippi. Weekend shifts run 7 am–4 pm and 3 pm–10 pm, with occasional fluoroscopy coverage; MRI is limited depending on case mix.

The PA will perform general body and neuro reads; PET scan experience is preferred but not required. Hospital privileges are required; Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24/7 consultant support.

Qualifications

• PA must be licensed and credentialed in Mississippi.
• Experience interpreting radiology studies is preferred.
• PET/CT interpretation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general body and neuro reads as assigned.
• Interpret radiology studies including fluoroscopy when needed.
• Cover weekend shifts and manage time entries in the online portal.
• Maintain hospital privileges and compliance with protocols.
