Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a physician assistant for radiology locum tenens assignments in Providence, RI. Shifts vary with 7 am–4 pm and 3 pm–10 pm on weekends, covering a mix of CT, MRI, PET, and ultrasound studies.

PA staff handle fluoroscopy, with temporary coverage when needed. Hospital privileges are required, and extensive support is provided—paid malpractice, travel and housing, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant.

Qualifications

• Hospital privileges required for practice.
• Experience reading general body and neuro radiology studies.
• PET scan experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read general body and neuro reads; general DX also accepted.
• FLUOROSCOPY duties handled by on-staff PA; locums cover if unavailable.
