Responsibilities

• A leading hospital in eastern West Virginia has an exclusive opportunity for an OB Hospitalist to provide locum coverage.
• Schedule: 24-hour shifts
• Level III NICU, delivering as early as 25 weeks
• Patient volume: 80-100 deliveries per month, 1,800 OB ED visits annually
• Comfortability with GYN ED cases, including laparoscopic and ectopic pregnancies, is preferred but not required
• Support staff includes midwives and family medicine OB on backup call, MFM, in-house anesthesia
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Board Certified
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Active unencumbered physician West Virginia state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as an OB Hospitalist
• One year of EMR experience
