Job summary

Medicus has partnered with a Chicago-area hospital to provide locum tenens teleradiology coverage. The role is 100% remote with a schedule of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and sporadic shifts. Daily volume and caseload are managed remotely via Epic and connected PACS systems.

Ideal candidates are board-certified or board-eligible radiologists. Abdominal reads, including CTs, cancer, trauma, and complex surgery reads, are common. PowerScribe dictation is used, and paid travel & expenses are provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible radiologist.
• Experience with abdominal reads including CTs, cancer, trauma, and complex surgery reads.

Responsibilities

• Provide teleradiology reads for hospital cases.
• Interpret abdominal CTs and related imaging.
• Ensure timely reporting during assigned shifts.

About the Opening

• Schedule: 8a-5p, sporadic shifts
• Setting: 100% remote
• Daily Volume: 30-35 patients
• Case Types: Abdominal, including CTs, cancer, trauma, and complex surgery reads
• EMR: Epic
• PACS: Phillips and Telespace Enterprise
• Dictation: PowerScribe
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses
