  • Oversee daily deliveries with an average volume of 2-3.

Collaborating with a reputable hospital in central Oregon that has an opening for an OB Hospitalist to assist their team.

About the Opening:
  • Scheduling: 24-hour call shifts
  • Daily Volume: 2-3 deliveries
  • Support Staff: CNM taking first call
  • EMR: Epic
  • Board certification required
  • Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, hike or mountain bike scenic trails that wind through lava fields, alpine lakes, and pine forests, rock climb towering basalt cliffs, and attend outdoor concerts, film festivals, and art fairs in a lively downtown district.

Qualifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Active unencumbered OB Hospitalist Oregon state license
  • Graduate from a fully accredited OB Hospitalist program
  • One year of work experience as OB Hospitalist
  • One year of EMR experience
  • Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
