Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Recovery Worker specializing in Substance Misuse Services based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. This locum role offers an hourly rate of £23 (umbrella) for 37.5 hours per week, with a 3-month contract and potential extension.

You will manage a caseload, deliver keyworking sessions, and develop personalised recovery plans in collaboration with clients and professionals to support recovery goals.

Qualifications

• DBS on the update service.
• Proven experience in substance misuse (drugs and alcohol).
• Strong caseload management and keyworking skills.
• Good understanding of harm reduction and recovery models.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in their recovery from substance misuse, offering guidance and intervention where needed.
• Manage a caseload of clients, providing keyworking sessions tailored to individual needs.
• Develop and implement personalised recovery plans in collaboration with clients, working closely with other professionals to support well-rounded care.
• Promote harm reduction and educate clients on recovery models to empower them on their paths to recovery.
• Regularly review client progress and adapt recovery plans to ensure the best outcomes.
