Odyssey Locums seeks a fellowship-trained Locum Radiologist to start ASAP near Corktown, MI. Shift 8a-4p, no call, outpatient setting; MI license preferred; board certified.

Responsibilities include screening and diagnostic mammo, breast ultrasound and MRI, and image-guided procedures with BI-RADS/MQSA reporting. Collaborate with technologists, nurses, surgeons and oncology teams; credentialing in ~90 days; Level 2 Trauma.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained radiologist required.
• Board certified in radiology.
• MI license preferred; Level 2 Trauma exposure a plus.
• Bi-RADS/MQSA knowledge mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast imaging (screening and diagnostic mammo, ultrasound, MRI).
• Conduct image-guided procedures (biopsies, localizations, aspirations).
• Produce detailed, BI-RADS-compliant reports.
• Collaborate with technologists, nurses, surgeons and oncology teams.
• Maintain clear patient communication and fast, accurate turnaround.

Job description

Locum Radiologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Corktown, MI. MI license preferred.

• Shift: 8a-4p.
• No call.
• Practice Settings: Outpatient.
• Fellowship trained on-site radiologist coverage to support; screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, along with proficiency in image-guided procedures such as biopsies, localizations, and aspirations.
• Breast radiologists must be highly knowledgeable in BI-RADS and MQSA requirements, detail-oriented in reporting, and comfortable managing same-day diagnostic workups.
• Strong patient-facing communication skills are essential, as results and procedures are often discussed directly with patients.
• The role also demands the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, clinic-based environment while collaborating closely with technologists, nurses, surgeons, and oncology teams.
• Breast radiology requires specialized skills in Screening Mammography 45-55% (about 35-40 per shift), Diagnostics 25-35%, Procedures 15-25%.
• Fellowship: Required.
• BLS.
• Board Certified.
• Licensed in MI only.
• Level 2 Trauma.
• Credentialing: 90 days.
