Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking on-site radiology coverage in North Carolina for mammography (screening and diagnostic) with biopsy procedures. Assignment requires a minimum of 1 week per month, 8–9 hour shifts, and hospital privileges.

Avg workload includes about 30 screening mammograms, 4 diagnostic mammograms, and 0–1 biopsy per day. Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24-hour access to a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• General diagnostic radiology reading required.
• Mammography interpretation including screening and diagnostic workups.
• Biopsy procedures experience preferred or required.
• Hospital privileges required.

Responsibilities

• On-site radiology coverage for mammography services.
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms and biopsies as needed.
• Enter assignment time in the online portal and coordinate with staff.
