Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare offers locum tenens radiology assignments across the United States. The position requires general radiology skills with light interventional radiology capabilities and on-site procedures (LP, myelograms, arthrograms, fluoroscopy) as well as ultrasound-guided biopsies, thoracentesis, and paracentesis.

Assignments include paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses, with 24-hour access to Weatherby consultants.

Qualifications

• General radiology work with light IR skills.
• On-site procedures including LP, myelograms, arthrograms and fluoroscopy.
• Ultrasound-guided biopsies, thoracentesis and paracentesis required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams during shifts.
• Assist with interventional radiology procedures as needed.
• Perform ultrasound-guided biopsies and other procedures.
• Coordinate with Weatherby consultant for assignment details.
• Maintain hospital privileges and credentialing requirements.
