Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an oncology-focused locum tenens physician for an outpatient clinic with occasional inpatient consults in the United States. The role includes SBRT procedures for brain, lung, liver, and vertebral bodies and requires expertise in head/neck, lung, sarcoma, and metastatic cancer, with tumor board attendance expected for relevant cases.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with about 1 day of on-call per week and no weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Outpatient adult oncology clinic with occasional inpatient consults.
• SBRT procedures including brain, lung, liver, and vertebral bodies.
• Expertise in head/neck, lung, sarcoma, and metastatic cancer.
• Tumor board attendance required for sarcoma, head/neck, and lung.

Responsibilities

• Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm.
• Day call expected, about 1 day per week; no weekend coverage.
• Manage 10–15 patients on active treatment daily.
• Provider will participate in SBRT cases and inpatient consults as needed.
