Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an oncologist to support an outpatient adult oncology clinic with occasional inpatient consults in Tucson, AZ. The role includes SBRT for brain, lung, liver and vertebral bodies, with expertise in head/neck, lung, sarcoma and metastatic cancer. Tumor board attendance is required.

Cerner EMR will be used for care documentation and orders. 10–15 patients daily in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Outpatient oncology experience in a clinic setting
• SBRT expertise for brain, lung, liver, vertebral bodies
• Head/neck, lung, sarcoma, and metastatic cancer experience
• Attends tumor boards for sarcoma, head/neck, and lung cases
• Experience with Cerner EMR systems

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient adult oncology care with occasional inpatient consults
• Deliver SBRT treatments for applicable sites
• Attend and contribute to tumor boards
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and orders
• Manage a daily patient load of 10–15 patients

• Monday - Friday: 8 am - 5 pm clinic hours
• Day call -- estimated 1 day per week, no weekend coverage
• 10 - 15 patients on active treatment daily
• Outpatient adult oncology clinic -- occasional inpatient consults
