Job summary

CompHealth is seeking locum physicians to cover inpatient rounds and admissions in Alabama. The role includes 30-minute response calls, 25–30 patients daily, and 6–10 phone consults per day.

Qualified candidates will have critical care skills, ventilation management (invasive/non-invasive), chest tube insertion, and preferred bronchoscopy/thoracentesis experience. We arrange complimentary housing, travel, and malpractice coverage and streamline credentialing.

Qualifications

• Critical care skills including sepsis, respiratory and cardiac arrest management.
• Ventilation management (invasive and non-invasive) experience required.
• Chest tube insertion experience is required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call only coverage with a 30-minute response time.
• See 25–30 patients per 24 hours.
• Inpatient rounding and admissions coverage.
• 6–10 phone consults per 24 hours.
