Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a board-certified pulmonologist with critical care expertise for locum tenens assignments across the country. The role includes inpatient ICU coverage, hospital rounds, and on-call overnight duties.

Vent management, bronchoscopies, and invasive lines may be required. The recruiter's team handles credentialing, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage for seamless placement.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Pulmonology and Critical Care required.
• Overnight on-call experience preferred.
• Experience in inpatient ICU settings and complex case management.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU coverage with hospital rounds and consults.
• Perform ventilation management, bronchoscopies, arterial and central line placements as needed.
• Handle overnight shifts with on-call duties as scheduled.
• Manage new consults typically 10 per day or less; total service 25–30 per day.
• Coordinate credentialing and privileging processes for assignments.
