Job summary

CompHealth is a locum tenens partner helping clinicians focus on patient care while we handle credentialing, housing, travel, and more. This role features pediatric thoracic caseload and a focus on advanced VATS and robotic procedures in a Honolulu area facility.

Schedule: Part-time, roughly 1 week per month; Clinic 2 days/week with 40-min consults and 20-min follow-ups; Surgery 1 day/week with blocked times and add-ons. We arrange housing and travel and provide malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years post-training in thoracic surgery.
• Advanced VATS and robotic surgery skills required.
• Part-time availability: 1 week per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide general thoracic surgical care including elective and urgent cases.
• Share thoracic call coverage and coordinate with hospital staff.
• Assist with credentialing and privileging processes as part of locum placement.

• General thoracic, esophageal, and thoracic oncology only

• 2 - 5 years post-training experience required
