CompHealth is seeking a hospital-based physician to cover pediatric cases, including neonates, with occasional adult general cases as needed. Expect M-F 7 am - 5 pm plus pager calls, with weekend pager duties and varying patient loads. The role requires comfort with a new EMR system.

CompHealth handles credentialing, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage. CompHealth provides access to an online portal for assignment details and time entry, and ensures weekly deposits plus comprehensive

Qualifications

• Licensed physician in California.
• Board-certified in pediatrics preferred.
• Willing to handle adult general cases as needed.

Responsabilités

• Work in a hospital setting with pediatric cases, including neonates.
• Handle scheduled and emergent cases; patient load varies daily.
• Assist with adult general cases as needed.
• Adapt quickly to a new EMR system.

• M-F, 7 am - 5 pm with pager call 1 - 2 times per week
• One weekend pager call per month -- callback rate approx. 10%
• Scheduled and emergent cases -- patient load varies daily
• Hospital setting
• Pediatric cases -- healthy and sick patients, including neonates
• Must be willing to assist with adult general cases as needed
• Must adapt to new EMR system with ease
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
