Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an Ophthalmologist for temporary coverage in Macon, Georgia. The assignment requires one week of call per month with inpatient consults and admissions, including surgical and non-surgical procedures, laser anterior segment and YAG, ruptured globe and eyelid laceration repair, and B-scan ultrasound.

Leave coverage and paid malpractice, plus pre-paid travel and housing expenses.

Qualifications

• Ophthalmologist with experience in surgical and non-surgical procedures.
• Experience with B-scan ultrasound and ocular laser treatments.
• Experience providing call coverage and inpatient consults/admissions.

Responsibilities

• Provide call coverage one week per month.
• Perform inpatient consults and admissions.
• Conduct laser anterior segment and YAG procedures; manage ruptured globe repair and eyelid lacerations.
