Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled clinician for inpatient rounds and call coverage in Hattiesburg, MS. The assignment requires proficiency in advanced critical care procedures and 24-hour shifts, with emphasis on rapid response and patient safety.

Responsibilities include intubation, central line placement, non-invasive ventilation, chest tube insertion, and high-risk obstetric support such as C-sections. Travel, housing and malpractice coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• Inpatient and rounding coverage with call responsibilities.
• Proficiency in listed invasive procedures and ventilatory support.
• Ability to perform obstetric and critical care procedures as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rounding coverage with call responsibilities.
• Perform intubation, central line placement, and UVC/UAC as required.
• Administer non-invasive and ventilatory support and manage ventilated patients.
• Place chest tubes and utilize nitric oxide as indicated.
• Attend high-risk C-sections and provide related care.
• Perform lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis as needed.
• Coordinate assignment details and time entry via the online portal.

Job description

• Monday - Wednesday; 7 am - 7 am 24-hour shifts
• 3 - 5 patients per shift
• Inpatient and rounding required -- call coverage included
