About The Position
Specialty: General Medicine

Requirements: VES is seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Locations Available - Please note at the time of name clear:
- Must be within 50 miles of Provider’s own office locations - provider must have their own office.
- St Cloud - 2 shifts per week needed.
- Knife Lake - 1 shift per week needed.
- Benson - 10 days per week needed, multiple openings.
- International Falls - 10 days per week, multiple openings.

Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company, is a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans. Need is on a PRN basis ongoing. Willing to accept these specialties: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with a background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension.

Coverage Options:
- Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility.
- Schedule Veterans within your own practice.
- Option to work ½ days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours).

Exams: One-Time non-treatment CampP exams and separation health assessments. Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment.

Training: Training shall be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report. End product is the completion of standardized forms. Evaluations to be completed in VES's provider portal. Record review is required in most cases. Follow-up administrative work will be required on a regular basis: addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics.

Rate Structure for Presentations:
- Half-day Rate: $800 flat rate for 4-hour shifts or less, includes time to complete exams and submit reports including any addendums.
- Daily Rate: $1600 flat rate for 5-hour shifts or longer, includes time to complete exams and submit reports including any addendums.
- Bonus: one-time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams.

Process: Once credentialing is kicked off:
- VES will email the PROVIDER two forms to complete - *PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PROVIDER HAS 48 HOURS TO COMPLETE OR THEY WILL BE REDIRECTED*: the Docusign VES Application and Electronic Signature Form.
- AHSA will email your agency requesting DOB, SSN, Agency Credentialing contacts, and COI.
- After credentialing is confirmed as complete, the provider will need to complete their DMA training.
- After DMA's are confirmed as complete, the provider is marked as active in the VES system. At this point, they can provide their availability for scheduling. Before working their first shift, they will need to complete a 2-hour PEP session/training.

Schedule: Days, PRN - as needed basis.
