Job summary

CompHealth is assisting in placing an Interventional Radiologist in Fargo, ND. The role involves a high IR focus (80-90%), with procedures including biopsies, drains, biliary stent, nephrostomy, and chest tubes.

Embolization, TIPS, thrombolysis, and venous access procedures may be included. Hospital privileges are required; CompHealth coordinates housing, travel, credentialing and privileging, and provides comprehensive malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• IR specialists with hospital privileges required.
• 80-90% interventional radiology focus; no vascular work.
• Housing and travel arrangements provided; malpractice coverage included.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures as listed (biopsies, drains, biliary stent, nephrostomy, chest tubes).
• Engage in procedures such as embolization, TIPS, thrombolysis, and venous access management as applicable.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and ensure credentialing and privileging compliance.

• Procedures: para/thora, NG/NJ placement, cholecystostomy, pleurx cath
• Preferred: embolization, TIPS, thrombolysis, peripheral arterial disease
• Preferred: venous access, AV fistula, pulmonary embolism thrombectomy
• Hospital privileges required
