Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum interventional cardiologist for a Florida assignment. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiology with procedures including Echo, stress EKG, nuclear/TEE, PTCA, caths, and stents.

A hospital privileges requirement and ability to handle a demanding patient load are essential. Typical schedule is 7 on/7 off with two weeks back-to-back considered, and travel/housing expenses are covered.

Qualifications

• Experience in invasive interventional cardiology procedures is required.
• Hospital privileges and ability to work in a hospital setting.
• Ability to manage 18–20 patients per day and coordinate in inpatient/outpatient environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with Echo, stress EKG, nuclear/TEE, PTCA, caths and stents.
• Work in 7 on/7 off schedule (2 weeks back-to-back also considered).
• Provide care in inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiology settings.
