Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a general surgeon for Worcester, MA, on a 24-hour call basis. The role focuses on surgical coverage with no endoscopy, while housing and travel are arranged.

You will work with a team of surgeons and rely on our support for credentialing and time entry through an online portal. The position handles general surgery cases with on-call responsibilities, including hospitalist and ICU consultation coverage as needed.

• Bread and butter general surgery skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general surgery procedures as assigned.
• Full hospitalist and ICU attending coverage as consultant.
• 2–4 calls per shift with 0–2 callbacks per shift.
• 24-hour call coverage.
