Job summary

77 consultants is seeking a licensed MD to join two-week locum assignments at our client hospital in Mountain Home, Idaho. Responsibilities include general surgery, minor trauma management, and endoscopy coverage.

Preference is given to candidates with an Idaho medical license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) credentials, and LOQ will be considered. Two work blocks of 14 days followed by 14 days off are planned.

Qualifications

• MD required for practice in the assignment.
• Active Idaho medical license preferred; or IMLC.
• LOQ (Letter of Qualification) considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide general surgery coverage for the hospital.
• Perform upper and lower endoscopy procedures as needed.

Job description

We have two available two-week assignments (totaling 4 weeks) at our client hospital located in Mountain Home, Idaho.

Candidates should possess competencies in general surgery, minor trauma management, and both upper and lower endoscopy.

Preference will be given to those with an active Idaho medical license; alternatively, candidates holding an active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).

Letter of Qualification (LOQ) will also be considered.

Please note that applicants lacking either credential will not be advanced in the selection process.

The assignment entails two consecutive weeks of work (14 days), followed by a two-week break, and then another two-week work period (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, 2 weeks on).

Minimum qualifications include:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
