Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a board-certified gastroenterologist for outpatient duties in a hospital setting. You will perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy with focus on patient safety and comfort.

Fellowship training in gastroenterology is required, along with strong skills in small bowel biopsy and lower GI endoscopy. The position features 9-hour shifts Mon-Fri with travel and housing support provided by Weatherby.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in gastroenterology is required.
• Board certification in gastroenterology is required.
• Outpatient procedures performed in a hospital setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and related procedures.
• Perform small bowel biopsy and lower GI endoscopy as required.
• Coordinate patient care and complete time entry in the online portal.
