CompHealth is seeking a gastroenterologist for a locum tenens opportunity in California. The role includes standard clinic hours with 24/7 call coverage, and is supported by a recruiter who coordinates housing, travel, and malpractice coverage.

• 4 telephonic and 3–4 in-person events per call shift.
• Housing, travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage arranged.
• Credentialing and privileging are streamlined.
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry.

• Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm clinic hours with 24-hour call coverage
• 2 patients per hour expected in clinic setting
• 1 - 5 inpatient consults per day; 1 - 3 procedures per day
• 4 telephonic and 3 - 4 in-person events per call shift
• Gastroenterology procedures required
• Night call is light -- holds non-emergent consults until morning
