Job summary

CompHealth is recruiting for physicians with GI fellowship experience to join a hospital team in an inpatient setting. The role involves 8 am to 5 pm rounding with on-call coverage, performing ERCP and EUS as part of routine care, and managing 15 patients per rounding period along with 5–10 admissions per call.

We provide comprehensive housing, travel, and malpractice coverage, and streamline credentialing to reduce time to start.

Responsibilities

• 8 am - 5 pm rounding shifts; 7-day on-call stretches required
• 15 patients per rounding shift; 15+ seen per call period
• 5 - 10 admissions per call; higher acuity GI cases
• Inpatient hospital setting -- rounding and on-call coverage
• ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) required
• Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) required
• Leave coverage
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
