Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking Emergency Department physicians for travel assignments in Illinois. Shifts available include 6am, 9am, 2pm, and 7pm, with overnight coverage from 7pm to 7am and an annual ED volume of about 24,000 without trauma cases.

Privileges to practice at the hospital are required, along with ATLS, PALS, ACLS and BLS certifications. Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and ongoing consultant support through a Weatherby consultant.

Qualifications

• ER physician with ability to work on assigned shifts.
• Willingness to travel for assignments.
• Strong patient-care focus and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency department coverage based on shifts (12-hour/overnight).
• Maintain high-quality patient care during assigned hours.
• Coordinate care within a high-volume ED setting.
