Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an emergency medicine physician for a hospital-based assignment in Erie, PA. Shifts run 7 am–7 pm and 7 pm–7 am, with 24/7 coverage requirements and back-up coverage across several specialties. A paid malpractice plan and travel/housing expenses are provided. Expect strong support from Weatherby’s dedicated consultant and a national network.

Qualifications

• ACLS and PALS certification is required.
• Hospital-based emergency medicine setting.
• Shifts include 7 am–7 pm and 7 pm–7 am.
• No APPs on site.
• Backup coverage: peds, ENT, surgery, ortho, GI, detox, wound care, urology.
• Paid malpractice insurance; travel and housing expenses covered.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 emergency coverage in a hospital setting.
• Cover day and night shifts as scheduled.
• Coordinate with Weatherby consultant for logistics and billing.
