Weatherby Healthcare is seeking emergency medicine staffing in Frederick, MD. The assignment features shifts of 8–10 hours with 24-hour physician and PA coverage, and an on-site pediatric ED.

Candidates must hold ATLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications and have a PA-C license to ensure seamless patient care in a hospital setting. Paid malpractice insurance, travel and housing pre-paid, and ongoing support from a Weatherby consultant are included as part of the assignment.

• Shifts of 8 - 10 hours with 24-hr physician and PA coverage


• 1.5 - 2.3 patients per hour


• Emergency medicine -- hospital setting


• PA coverage available alongside physician coverage


• ATLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required


• Annual ED volume of 65,000 visits -- moderate to high acuity


• Separate pediatric ED on site


• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
