Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a physician for inpatient hospitalist coverage in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This 3 FTE assignment involves rounding on unassigned patients, inpatient care, and a demanding call schedule with about 10 phone consults, 10 patients seen, and 5 admissions per 24 hours.

Experience with admissions and unassigned patient rounding is required. Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24-hour support through a Weatherby consultant.

• Inpatient setting with rounding on unassigned patients.
• Call: avg 10 phone consults, 10 patients seen, 5 admissions per 24hr.
• 1:1 call ratio -- 25% call back rate.
