CompHealth is assisting in placing a locum cardiovascular surgeon in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The assignment covers scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call with a 20-minute response, serving adult, pediatric, and neonatal CV surgical patients in the region.

This is a locum tenens position with support from CompHealth for credentialing, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage. Candidates should have vascular surgery skills including aneurysm repair and arterial bypass, with preferred experience

Qualifications

• Must have vascular surgery expertise including aneurysm repair and arterial bypass.
• Experience with AV shunt procedures and pediatric/neo CV cases preferred.
• Must be able to handle scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call with 20-minute response.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular surgical care for adults and pediatric patients.
• Participate in on-site coverage with a call schedule and rapid response.
• Collaborate with hospital team to serve a large catchment area.
